Kimmy resides in Hollister, CA with her husband and three boys. Some of her earliest memories are of taking ballet, tap, and jazz, with her two sisters. She grew up with a passion for gymnastics, swimming, and now running. She is passionate about fitness and children. Through high school she enjoyed lifeguarding and coaching special Olympics swimming. In college she enjoyed working in a children's preschool, working mostly with infants and toddlers. Kimmy graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and an emphasis in Child Development and Psychology. She spent a year subbing in the Gilroy Unified School district, preschool through eighth grade, before she moved to Hollister. She has spent six years working in homes with families of special needs children as a behavioral interventionist. She enjoys being able to work one on one with each unique child to help them work on specific skills to improve their quality of life and their family's.
Kimmy has had the pleasure and privilege to train with the owner of Flying Colors, working especially with the toddlers in the creative movement class and mommy and me class. She loves working with this age group as they bring such fun and joy to the class. In 2016 she completed a comprehensive Intellidance® teacher training course and is now a certified Intellidance® Instructor. She is excited to share her love of fitness and dance with such a great group of kids!
